The house is located in a beautiful area in the forest with a small lake, with the start of walking trails and info centre nearby. The houses and grounds are stunning. Everything was very comfortable (including the bedding which was exceptional) and beautifully decorated and appointed. The nice beachtown of Võsu is a short drive away.

And you have a grill, a sauna, fresh eggs from the local chicken and fresh lamb rack from Sven (just kidding, he's not for eating, but cute). You can do really nice hiking from the Haaviku Nature Lodge, take a dip in the sea, eat Estonian food at Altja Kõrts and visit two of Estonian's most well preserved German manors very close by. One of them even has a decent restaurant.

Toomarahva Farmstay is an indrecibly nice place to stay in Lahemaa. We were really surprised by the hospitality of the owner, she even made us pancakes in the morning which were really good and the freshly pressed jam was a nice touch. The beds were great, bathroom was clean and nice. They even had coffee and tea available for us. The place is very close to the sea and we had the opportunity to see the birds migrate for the winter. Definitely a must visit for all bird watchers.
