This was a clean, comfortable two bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Regensburg. It is a short drive to the center of the town, but so short compared to the distance between downtown and the suburbs of American cities that the distance was almost irrelevant. Plus, the peace and quiet at night made it a very good option for me and my adult son. There were great restaurants and a market nearby.

It was what we (two adult couples) needed. A large, comfortable, no frills apartment to rest a few days after 12 days on the road. Easy access from the north side of Regensburg. We were there during the massive snowfall in Germany (Dec. 2023) so did not use nice garden with grill-platz. Parking was easy and ample, though a short walk to the house. Well-appointed kitchen. Large bathroom. Large rooms. Good heat. Washer and dryer were appreciated!

Room was large and breakfast was amazing. Breakfast staff was always attentive. Lovely outdoor garden just couldn’t enjoy due to rainy weather.

Three of us stayed for 2 nights in November. The appearment is spacious, well-designed and well-decorated, light, clean, very comfortable and can easily accommodate 4-6 people. The location very quiet, and yet it is only 15 minute walk from city centre. There are some restaurants and supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk. The beds are very comfortable, there are books and boardgames for a quiet evening, and overall it felt like a home rather than a rental appartment. The WiFi worked well, and the mobile phone signal strengh was good. The owners are incredibly helpful and welcoming. We received a delicious home-made cake on arrival (!) as well as useful advice on places to visit and eat out. On our departure, they even drove us to the station to help us catch the early morning train. We will definitely come again when we are in the area.

The location was perfect!!! Nice quiet street with good parking and easy walk into the city. The only thing negative was the weather but alas can’t have so much beautiful green without some rain. The hosts were awesome and there if we needed anything. The apartment was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

A lovely welcoming hotel. Our room was great and meticulously clean, tastefully decorated and well appointed. All the staff were professional, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met, including following up our booked taxi on departure as it was a little late & we had a train to catch - which we did! The restaurant was beautiful and the breakfast was fabulous and served in a lovely breakfast room. It is rare to find such good old fashioned service but at AVIA Hotel they provide exemplary service and care with attention to detail. Many thanks for a memorable stay. John & Susan
