it was quiet and clean. there was a delicious Italian restaurant around the corner we could walk to. Also, one of the bedrooms is more like a closet, but one of the kids called it her little bat cave.

We loved this place and wanted to extend our stay. Facilities are outstanding and an excellent value (44€/night during Christmas week). 3 room suite with large bedroom, large entry room, and a large bathroom/lounge. Great big shower but no bathtub. If extra beds can be supplied, Edin is very suitable for a family. Free off street parking wasn't explicit in the listing but was provided. The family lives upstairs but aren't on site during the day. Apparently, both adults work but can be reached by message as needed. Because there is only one suite, it may be impossible to book an extended stay if there are any reservations during your desired interval. Beyond that obstacle, this is a great base for exploring the Frankfurt metro area. Internet was good and there is a courtyard for use when weather cooperates. A selection of snacks and drinks is supplied for only 1€ cash each and coffee/tea is complimentary. There is also a 10€ bottle of wine waiting. My only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator for keeping drinks and food cold -- but Germans are famous for not liking anything too cold. Most home refrigerators here are kept at what we Americans would consider way too warm a temperature.

If you like to cook by yourself. There's a kitchen that provides the basic seasoning for cooking. Also, The nearest supermarket is only 2 mins by walk. Moreover, This apartment has a good dishwasher for guests to use! The host is really nice, he really takes care of my needs. In conclusion, this is a good apartment for a long stay. I will stay here for my next business trip to Germany.

The hotel has character by the spade load. If you like bland modern hotels this won't be to your taste. But if you like character and quirky style then you are in luck. The breakfasts were awesome. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the train station with an hourly direct train to the centre of Frankfurt or the airport. The restaurants by the river are lovely. My room was kept very clean.
