This was a self catering apartment. The last morning we had breakfast at the B&B guesthouse- delicious. The location was near the Schillergarten Biergarten on the banks of the Elbe River. Fantastic. A must see-great food!!!!

This is a lovely, peaceful property in the heart of old Pirna. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Bus and train stations 15 minutes walk away, which make access to Saxony Switzerland and Dresden so easy. Both of them are about 20 minutes by train.
Old Pirna is lovely and Pension Donatus was the perfect choice for sightseeing in the area.
By the way, the car park at the Pension (£10 a night) is so cool. You drive the car into the garage, take all your luggage out, and it disappears to a car park underground 😄

A great hotel in Pirna - very convenient as our first stop in our Malerweg hike. Extremely nice staff - helped us with everything, arranged a ventilator (it was a very hot day) and even agreed to keep our luggage when we finished the hike even though it was a week after our stay.
