Gasthaus Tannenhof is a fantastic place to stay for a few nights in Lutz. We stayed with the host Elsie with a group of ten friends, enjoying the region by motorbike. We received the most warm welcome from Elsie. She went out of her way to make this a truly great experience for the entire group. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet is simply excellent. We enjoyed a wide variety of food for dinner, from traditional Philippian kitchen to traditional German schnitzels and barbecue. We will definitely be back some day.

That was the most quiet vacation we ever had. The place is situated in a small village away from high way. You sleep amazing! We found everything we could need in the apartment. The owners were friendly and never disturbed us. Big towels and little details like cotton pads were really touchy. Not a minus but a thing to keep in mind. There is no supermarket or bakery in Lütz, so bring something with you to the apartment. The closest restaurant is 3km away and its kitchen is closed after 20.00, so the order should be placed a bit earlier even. To eat and go out I recommend Tai restaurant in Mörsdorf or Weingut Otto Knaup restaurant in Treis-Karden.

Great location with a view on the vineyards. Spacios parking and rooms, good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool and sauna available the whole day. Many hiking routes around, including 2.5h hike to Burg Eltz. Clean, with a wonderful staff. I enjoyed a lot!

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were traveling by bicycle and the luggage transfer service delivered our bags to the wrong town. They volunteered to drive us to collect our bags, saving us a 1+ hour train trip! Dinner at the restaurant was also amazing. Highly recommend; one of the best meals we had in Germany.
