We had an excellent room with a nice terrace and all the facilities we needed. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre of Brüggen, close to various restaurants, shops and bars. The small town is the ideal starting point to discover the wooded area around Brüggen by bike or on foot. Joanne is a lovely host.

For us the location was perfect. Although we brought our bikes, we unfortunately were unable to explore the countryside by bike. But that was more on us due to our schedule. But we will definitely will return and explore the surrounding woods and the Hariksee by bike. For restaurants in area (that we tried) I can recommend the following: For Greek, go to the Notre’s cafe and restaurant near the Hariksee, but make an reservation in advance. For Schnitzels, go to Bruggen; Wirtshaus Burghof (although my family might be biased as we like schnitzels :D) Also what was very handy there is a supermarket at walking distance.
