Very roomy and super comfortable appartment over 2 floors. There's even a washing machine.
We had nothing planned for the evening but ended up going to the charming butcher shop on the street corner and used the very well furnished kitchen to prepare a little something for dinner which we ate with local beers for a little relaxing evening in the middle of a jam-packed vacation. It really felt like home. We left with our bags stuffed with pastries from the bakery nearby.

There is nothing to dislike. There is an indoor space for a bike, a help yourself honesty drink fridge and a very cosy feel thanks to the lady at reception if you can call it that. The lady was very kind and made us decaf coffee with coffee we brought

An unusual, almost quirky design to the building itself. Being on the side of a steep slope, the ground floor on one side was the first/second floor on the other. A spiral staircase to the full height is spectacular if not a little intimidating if you go right to the top and don't like looking down. A very good continental breakfast buffet selection was provided in a pleasant wood-panelled dining room. My bedroom furnishings were an eclectic mix but ultimately functional. The bathroom appeared recently refurbished and was clean and more than adequate. All rooms appear to open out onto a balcony, mine giving a view to the village/town and countryside beyond.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Great location for cycling the Danube. I was able to leave my bicycle in the host's garden which was very helpful. The wi-fi was good and the location is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the rooms were warm.
