Super comfy beds and great breakfast served by a friendly team. Good value for an overnight stay travelling from west to east coast, but wouldn’t want to stay longer.

What an amazing place ! The best I've been for the all trip. The bedroom is comfortable and clean, nature is everywhere and the owners are soooo kind. They will cook you a dinner you won't forget ! Better than a restaurant I tell you 😉 And keep eyes open for hummingbirds.

The cabin is beautiful and in a lovely location. Quiet at night and in the morning, with just the sound of nature. The beds are comfortable and plenty of blankets available. The open fire is also lovely. The cabin is spacious and cosy. Internet was also good as was the TV.

Beautiful house in the middle of the Dota valley. You can't beat having a 180 degree view. The apartment is very modern and clean. Parking is right outside. It's very quiet and we even saw glow worms at night. The area is good for bird watching.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location was just paradise. So many hummingbirds and other birds just flitting around. Food was great, accommodation and staff were excellent and we had a great guide to see the Resplendent Quetzals!
More or less OK and the so-called Gallo Pinto was not that 'rich' as the typical breakfast we had at other locations. Same goes for lunch and dinner. Staff on the other hand super friendly and professional. Our cabin (#4) was clean, hot water but small and no balcony and no outlook over the gorgeous valley.
Amazing location high up in mountains (2700 m above sea level), beautiful site in real good condition and great staff. Hummingbird garden was full of these birds, tens buzzing around. Knowledgable guides found quetzal birds easily.
The beautiful walks in the high cloud forest, the views over the valley, gets a bit chilly in the evening but nothing we brits aren't used to. Fabulous location and the owner is incredibly helpful.
