Great location, but is better to rent a car to get there. Was not a problem for us, beacause we have a car. Parking available and free. Amazing view to the lake. Great garden in front of our terrace. Cleanleness. Good breakfast with an amazing tea made with plants harvested from garden. Gorgeous view from the breakfast terrace. We received an upgrade for the room, which it was great, so we were very pleased for that. Great staff. Definetely I recommend this place to everyone hwo want to enjoy the nature and feel the real vibe of Costa Rica

Communication prior to arrival was excellent. There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs.

Mary was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way providing us with helpful information, logistical support and transportation. She checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, which we did. The home was in a beautiful area walking distance from Lake Arenal Park and recreation area and very close to restaurants and shops. Perfect weather...no need for a heater or air conditioner.

Lovely room that was nice and cool even without A/C. Super clean. Amazing views over the roofs to the west so great sunsets from the balcony. Clean and well equipped kitchen. We ate in the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed the food a lot.

We saw more different types of birds just sitting at the balcony eating breakfast than in any of our hikes (& guided tours) ! 🤩 The room and outside walls are also painted beautifully with tropical plants and birds 😍 Simon is awesome and super welcoming. Everything was perfect. Rooms were tidy and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and hosts polite and helpful. We stayed in a room with two double beds and a small bed. All beds were very comfortable. I slept in the little one on the picture, very cozy!
