The host kindly made us an amazing authentic Costa Rican breakfast and bravely held engaging conversations with us even though we didn't speak Spanish fluently. She showed us her farm and explained Costa Rican culture to us. It was our first night and morning in Costa Rica and it felt more authentic than any where else that we stayed.

Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Private cabin, parking, hot water for shower, full kitchen and AC was on point ❣️ We LOVED that it had a washer in the cabin and the WiFi was so fast. Also the satellite had English Channels with HBO, etc. The view was gorgeous, near shopping centers for groceries, perfect location. We loved it and Karolina was a fabulous host. Definitely we will be back and recommend this gem. Thank You 😊

Nice location, close to the small town but very noisy. Decoration is nice. Air-conditioning is very quiet. Owner very sensitive to energy saving but very very low insulation so loosing lot of energy.

The lodge is located inside a lush jungle pocket at the top of the first hill / mountain from the ocean, with unparalleled views of the Pacific (you can see the waves breaking). The property has a fantastic cooled pool and a jacuzzi, with an extended terrace with sun-beds overlooking the jungle and the ocean. The room we stayed in was very spacious, boasted modern amenities, and had it’s own patio with a couch and a hammock (again, overlooking the ocean). Eva and Markus are extremely kind and two marvellous human beings with interesting stories and a sincere interest in their guests. The breakfast they make is otherworldly, with homemade yogurt, bread, and a huge selection of homemade jams. Their dogs, Brava and Nera, are sweet and playful. I highly recommend the Palmetto lodge and my only regret is that we stayed just one night.

It felt so good to sleep in such a comfortable bed but in a tent - right in the middle of nature. You could gaze at the stars at night time and hear all of the beautiful nature around you. Misha and Jen are wonderful, friendly hosts who made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast (and conversation) were very much enjoyed :-) Thank you!

Beautiful property situated in a very peaceful location. The infinity pool affords a stunning view of the forest and the ocean below. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast is freshly made and delicious. Highly recommend.

The location was good as it was close to the beach and not far from the town. The views from the terrace and pool were amazing and proved a great vantage point for watching the birds and wildlife of the surrounding area. The staff were warm and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. We felt relaxed and comfortable there and we're sad to leave. Thanks to everyone
