Amazing, stylish place. Loved fire they set for you in the evening, the jacuzzi, reception staff was extremely kind and helpfull. They organised everything for us and communication was super easy though WhatsApp. Restaurant is really great and their room service is a great bonus. La Pausa was sensational. We had a beautiful cabana perched on the side of the hill overlooking the lake. The cabana itself was lovely - really loved the ‘almost outdoor’ shower and the hot tub on the deck. The view was very peaceful - everything was perfect.
The food was great - it was terrific to get vegan options as well.
The people at La Pausa were excellent. Simon and his team were professional, welcoming and friendly - nothing was ever too much trouble. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

Nicely equipped cabins, but no shade so not useable for part of day and no aircon. But lots of room, good showers and decent sized fridge. Area for hot tub and mesh to lie on not much space for anything else. Well spaced pods. Great clubhouse to use with shade and space to sit and view Moutains. Excellent cooked breakfast with proper fresh juice. Very comfortable sleep, despite the mattress and pillows covered in plastic! Has bar and restaurant. However, near to town if you wish pop in for nightlife. Staff very helpful.

What a gem. We were super satisfied. Tge staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I also recommend to eat lunch and dinner in the hotel as they have cheaper prices than in the city. The room was tidy and the bed was really comfy. The location is private, yet easy to reach the rock and Guatape. Kayaking in front of the hotel and pool + jacuzzi in the sister hotel is included in the price. We could have not got more for this price. Thank you.
Great location and very comfortable accommodation and safe! It’s not the usual hotel, the keys are on the door and you speak with the host via WhatsApp. He is very attentive and always answers right away. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen space as well as washing machine and dryer. Just a short walk to the beautiful town of Guatapé. Absolutely stunning views from the patio of the hotel! Definitely recommend it!
Good and safe location , friendly owner and hepful staff. Rooms are very clean and whole hotel is nicely decorated. Nice garden, plants and flowers everywhere. Comfortable beds and very good breakfast. Breakfast and dinner here was the best during our whole trip in Colombia . The hotel has two restaurants and the food in both of them is very delicous and waiters make your stay even better . Very nice view. It is possible to make gas fire in the private terraza . We would like to stay here again during our next visit.

The pool was very clean. The staff was very friendly, not all of them spoke english, but you can manage to communicate. Location is closer to the Penol rock than it is to the center. Its about 30 minutes by foot to the center of Gautape (Plaza principal).
Great location in Guatape and very close to la Piedra. Quiet but central. Everything is new and very clean and comfortable. Would recommend. The bed is amazing and there is a smart tv where you can cast to as well as a Netflix account already connected.
