Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Private rooms. Great location, near restaurants, across the street from bus to Arica, quiet. Kitchen is a nice extra room to hang out in for working, meeting others, and eating! Easy to set up a tour of the national park directly from the hostel.
The location is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains visible directly from the rooms.
Our room was equipped with a small heater and everything one may need.
Very friendly staff and the hostel is located in a beautiful village in the mountains. Cheap accomodation, comfy beds with everything you need: a shower and there's a shared kitchen available. Recommend to stay here. The breakfast is included and well done!
They are also very helpful with getting extra fuel for the car. You pay double compared to the gas station, but that makes sense considering the location.
Very peaceful and tranquil place at the foothills of Lauca NP, offers a great view and is located just outside of Putre. The hosts are super friendly and cook a great meal for you, so there is no need to get into the village at all. Rooms are very clean and there are plenty of warm blankets.
The personal was great and super helpful. It was clear they have a lot of experience in travelling and expertise about making tours in the mountains (they offer tours as well!). The location was great. The city of Putre gave us a good impression of the countryside. For fellow travellers: you should expect to organize and prepare yourself if you come to this region. But if you are up with simple living and enjoy this way of travelling - Putre, and specifically Las Vicuñas is a great place to visit.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Location wise, Terrace Lodge in on the edge of Putre, but everything is within walking distance.
