An excellent overnight stay for cyclists riding around the Bodensee. It is 4km from the lake, but well worth the ride. The top floor apartment was HUGE with several rooms and a well appointed kitchen. It has a lift and our bikes were securely stored in the lobby downstairs. We picked up the keys from the ground floor restaurant - Tres Amigos - and the hostess could not have been more welcoming. The views were great as was the wifi, hot water and huge comfortable bed. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We really loved the location! Beautiful walking paths along the lake were close by and some nice bars/ restaurants! The hotel is right opposite the train station (we couldn’t hear the train at night though) which is super handy for exploring other areas around the lake!
Our room was big, with a lot of natural light and a nice view of the lake!

For early birds, the breakfast is served starting at 5am! Super quality, very clean, friendly guy at the desk taking time to answer questions. I will definitely recommend this Jugendherberge, as it's probably one of the best I stayed at.
The location is stunning an old castle overlooking the lake garden terrace, very easy to get to the lakeside and railway station 10 min walk. Really enjoyed watching the water sports and relaxing in the parkland/gardens which adjoin the lake front. Shower did have excellent water pressure however it is situated in a cubicle with wrap around plastic sheet.
