The room was of exceptional quality; the beds, shower, doors, lighting, all was truly exceptional and finished with high quality materials. Nothing felt cheap, worn out, etc. The checking in was very easy and convenient. We also liked the location on a golf park which was quiet and green. We also enjoyed the restaurant on the same site which served very tasty food in a classy ambiance.

This is a wonderful place. Very spacious with immaculate views of the Swiss Alps from the garden where we had breakfast every morning. The lodge is wonderfully furnished with high quality products for guests to use. Beautiful cutlery for example! Vinzenz the host owner is very kind and was full of fabulous ideas and knowledge to help maximise our visits in the local area. He also was on hand for any issues or questions we had ...even simple things like finding where matches were for some lovely candles that were around the house. This was reassuring to know someone was always available to help and advice should you have any queries

Everything wonderful. Quick easy communications from Gaston, the lovely host. Parking right at the door. Large comfortable bed. Strong wifi. Nice touch with the nespresso coffee machine in the room. Bathroom is large, and only shared with one other room (which was vacant when I stayed so I had the bathroom all to myself.) Only a 9-minute drive from the center of Solothurn.

It was a very nice hotel except for the rather strange and unpleasant smell of methane or sewage gas in the stairwell and halls. I didn’t smell it at all in the room or breakfast/restaurant area, which is also peculiar. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind.
