This beautiful guest house was the best place to stay for the Switzerland trip. Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. The location of this hostel is breathtaking. You are surrounded by mountains. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Bf was included, and let me tell you, what a great breakfast! They offered pizzas for a cost at night, and they looked amazing! Drinks were also available. The shared dormitory was ok, and the whole house too. Toilet facilities shared but cleaned.
The location and vibe can’t be beat! It is great fun with a lovely community feel and amazing community spaces. There is no better view in the world. The breakfast was basic but good and the pizzas at night were great! I had stayed in 1998 as a backpacker and loved it so much I returned 25 years later with my family:)
I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. It was the friendliest environment, and was in the best location for hiking all around the Jungfrau region. All the staff and volunteers made you feel right at home, and kept the facility very clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious, especially the pizza. My friend and I were always so excited to come back to the cozy hostel after long hiking days to eat good food and hang out in the lobby. Special shoutout to Levi, Fermin, Cody, and Lindsey for being so friendly to us!!
