Hotel Plante, cheap hotel in Gaspé

Located in downtown Gaspé, Hotel Plante offers free WiFi and rooms with kitchenette facilities. Parc National Forillon is 20 minutes' drive away.

Each spacious room provides a cable TV. A dining area, microwave and refrigerator are included in some rooms.

The room was beautifully clean, quiet for sleeping and was a great base for our 3 day stay! Whilst we didn’t end up using the pool & spa it was also very well maintained. I was also very grateful for the laundry as we had been travelling for a while & needed to wash & dry clothes. Location was central to our needs for the restaurants, Pâtisserie and supermarket. Staff were attentive and spoke to us in English as we speak little French! Fresh towels & room cleaning was done when asked for.

    The bed was very comfortable. The location ideally situated to restaurants (walking distance). No elevator and we had to walk 10 steps up to our rooms (not that it matters) but may be an issue with older people.

    We love the location, the hotel is situated on a slope with an outdoor sitting area overlooking the harbour and the Gaspe Bay. We had a studio unit with a kitchen, the bedroom can see a portion of the bay. The hotel is close to everything and everything is just a walking distance from the hotel. We love having a kitchen, We found a seafood market down at rue Harbour got two cooked lobsters and ate it at the hotel, it was so fresh and inexpensive.

    This little hostel, situated in a former elementary school, was absolutely adorable. The kitchen was very clean and well organized, even with spices and the like to use to make food. The hang out spaces were large (as it was a former school). The dorm was also very large, with maybe about twenty single beds (not bunks) spread throughout. The location was beautiful and close to the national park. Oh, and free laundry and parking - yay! Overall, it was a perfect stop on my Gaspesian road trip.

    Very Clean Rooms. Comfortable beds. Staff were very efficient. Good location...close to restaurants and grocery. There is a common area on the top floor with tables and great view of the bay.

    The lady in a reception is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The building is old and room was small but good enough for what I paid. The location is just out side of National Parc but more than 30 km even booking.com stated 16 km. I recommend to budget travellers and young people.
