Absolutely stunning view of the lake and surrounding area. A bit out of the way but that’s part of why it’s good because you’re so separated from all other noise and light which makes the ambience at night unparalleled. Really close to the main hike of the island. Great WiFi connection. Shower was nice and warm. Oscar was an amazing host and made a fantastic breakfast for me.

The hostel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The terrace had sun until late in the afternoon. It was just a few metres from the beach. The host family is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

We were in the ‘Economy Triple Room with Shared Bathroom’. Host tried (innocently I believe, although unsure) to add on the Bolivian tax to our total - know how much your reservation is and what it converts to in Bs before you are here as you won’t have WiFi to check. Good location, a flat & easy walk to the ferry & some restaurants. Room was basic but clean. Beds & pillows, in the words of my partner, “felt like we were sleeping on a table” - very, very hard. Warm enough with loads of blankets. Kitchen is shared with the family and also very basic, with supplies really only enough for the family of 3. There is also no running water in the kitchen, nor does the outside spigot work so we were having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. Bathroom was clean but with scalding hot water & only 1 tap so you couldn’t really change the temp. The tap also shocks you, so beware. I had to ask for toilet paper on arrival. A fine stay for 2 nights, but I wouldn’t recommend. There are many more options on the island than are online, so I’d just show up & ask around.

Such an amazing place with the kindest hosts. The view and location couldn't be better. Great place to recharge with hardly anyone else on that part of the island -I ended up extending by a few nights and cancelling my stay elsewhere. Thank you for the wonderful time!!
We loved staying here. We booked for two days and stayed for a week. The views are amazing from the room and from the terrace. The mattress was super comfortable and the bedding was very clean. The shower was the best in Bolivia and the bathroom was really clean with consistent hot water.
The owners are lovely people and make the stay really comfortable.
It is a walk up hill from the ferry but totally worth it for view and the peace.
Great location in the quiet north of the island overlooking the lake. Anyone who likes peace and quiet will love it. The people are very nice and accommodating. Despite the remote location, there is internet. The room was equipped with a heater, which is very nice at the cold evenings at this altitude.
We can recommend it and would come back anytime.

The location is absolutely stunning. The view over the lake, the stillness, only the sounds of the water and birds (and sometimes a loud donkey haha). The owners are very kind and helpful. You get breakfast delivered at your room and even can order dinner if you want. The cabana is built with love and attention with a good warm shower and a heater for the cold nights. Our time here felt as a rejuvenating retreat, so peaceful and beautiful.
