I love this place so much. It's incredible trip into 19th century (but mixed with hot water in bathroom, WiFi, elektricity etc.). The old part of village is absolutely incredible. You can really feel history. If you want to have 19th century experience, this is perfect place for you. It's real village, not some artificial open-air museum. We loved the place - the views over the mountain and the authentic vibe. The host was very kind to us and made us great “mekitzi” with home made jams for breakfast. He told us lots about the history and life in the village. We also visited the museum in the old school, which was set up with care and appreciation for the history of the area, so also highly recommended to see.
