Whilst outside the city, it was easy to access as there is a regular bus at the end of the road which goes direct to Mechelen station or near the city centre. Mechelen was lovely and well connected to other key locations in Northern Belgium including Brussels, Ghent and Bruges all of which we visited.
We used public transport extensively which by and large was easy but if you're coming from the UK use the Belgian Railways website as easier to navigate than talking to staff at stations...
But a really good stay in a good location in a lovely country with lovely people.

The hosts were very friendly. At breakfast we were given good tips for our stay.
The breakfast was well prepared, extensive and offered a good selection.
The loud ring road could not be heard in the room.

Outstanding service and really good located in the center of Mechelen. Spacious and perfect for 4 adults (ready to sleep 2 by 2 in the beds). Koen was a really nice guy :)
