The hostess is very welcoming and provides plenty of practical information for anyone wanting to get to know Leuven, Brussels and the surrounding area. There are plenty of pamphlets with tourist information. We were allowed to leave 2 suitcases for a short period because we needed to have more space in the trunk of the car. The room was very spacious with a lovely view of their gardens. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed leaving the window open and hearing the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. The breakfast was substantial and delicious which much of it being homemade by the owner, including freshly squeezed orange juice. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. The little apartment is in a very nice neighbourhood, the house is in the midst of a beautiful garden. The apartment has 2 rooms and is well furnished. We loved the little verandah, pity that the weather prevented us from using it more often. Everything is clean and comfortable. There even were drinks available for a very reasonable price, coffee and tea were free. Betty is a very nice host and made us feel very welcome. If we come back to Leuven area we will sure return again!
