Beautiful historic house with gorgeous garden. The room was warm and quiet even when it was below zero and windy outside. Great location with easy walk to the shops, pub and restaurants/cafes. They also provide a basic self service breakfast and afternoon tea. We loved that we could use their EV chargers.

Absolutely gorgeous place surrounded by beautiful garden! Lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. Wish we had stayed longer. The kitchen has everything you need! Our bed was so comfortable and huge. Two bedrooms with a bathroom each, very rare to find. Perfect when you travel with friends. Thank you Matt and Eva! I was in need of accommodation with a kitchen as close as possible to a wedding venue and this was the only one I could find to serve the purpose; I was delighted with my find. The hostess was an absolute treasure, making sure everything was ready and that we would be comfortable. The house is huge and set in a lovely location with plenty of land surrounding the house. The kitchen was superbly kitted out with quality equipment and everything you could possibly need.

Was cold and windy when arrived but we were toasty warm with a little heater and an electric blanket in the main bed. After hiking all day it was great unwinding, bought food and goodies in Blackheath and made ourselves at home, hot showers are great and kitchen well appointed with everything. Loved out stay, highly recommended.

The location and the ambience in the hotel are absolutely first class. the rooms are well appointed and stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. The balcony runs the whole length of the hotel, and is a lovely place to relax. And the free tea/coffee area is a nice touch.
