We have had absolutely amazing family holidays in this place! The property is located high (1200m) above a valley on the rather steep slope with southern exposure. This meant that as soon as the sun rolled over surrounding mountains it stayed with us till the evening. Views are amazing! During the day you are overlooking a nice portion of the mountain range and during the nights stars cover the entire sky thanks to low light pollution. During our stay there was already no snow around the property, but you can drive further up the hill all the way up to Wallfahrtskirche Marterle (46.8791744N, 12.9405281E) and there was still plenty of snow for sledging. Ski slopes in Heiligenblut and Innerfragant Mölltaler Gletscher with free parking are less than 30 minutes away. We have traveled with two small kids who enjoyed playing on the heated floor or watching birds and other animals out of the window. During our stay we have made several day trips to different locations, which due to the big difference in altitude allowed us to experience both Austrian spring and winter! We have found here all we could wish for and would surely recommend this place to others.
