Ukraine
Travelling from Ljubljana to Prague with 4 teenaged kids. This was a great place to break up the trip. The host was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately we speak limited German and no Bosnian, whereas she spoke no English and very limited Ukrainian, but we communicated wonderfully. The beds were super comfortable and the mountain air clean and fresh. Breakfast was yummy.

Overall the stay was great, the breakfast was amazing. The apartment is really cozy and super clean. Everything what we needed was there and Gerald put our skiing booth somewhere warm to dry, which was a big help.

We spent there only one night, but it was a nice place to stay along our way home. Big suite with lovely kitchen and dining zone. Nice terrace. We weren't able to enjoy the surroundings but it was a quiet place during the night. We also had dinner in the restaurant, there are no real options for vegan, but you can ask for rice with veggies.

Latvia
There was an issue with overbooked rooms, but the owner of the apartment solved this with a nice upgrade to the other room. And we really, really loved the upgraded room (recommend choosing that one instead of a little bit cheaper one) It was newly renovated, with wide 2 rooms (2 very comfortable double beds), TVs in each room, well-packed kitchen and even terrace with candles, where to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunset (a little bit too cold at our stay - still I went out because of nice view on the morning - the fog goes down and the sun rises over mountains) Plus I liked - that all windows were on another side of the building, thereby no noise from road next to the building In the summers children probably would probably love a green area next to terrace and water with few slides
