Our stay was perfect for us. The apartment is located in an old mountain house, which has been upgraded to include all the necessities for a stay. While the renevation is not recent, the place is very comfortable and well kept. Yet, many of the old parts of the house have been kept, which gives it a very historic nature, such as the beautiful wood stove in the kitchen, and ceramic heater in the sitting room. The apartment inclused an infra red sauna which we did not operate but which was available for use. The hosts are exceptional! They were extremely helpful, including fetching wood and wooden sticks so our children could do a outdoor barbecue in the garden or giving us pointers about hikes and activities for the kids. There are children's games in the yard and in the house, and the kids can roam free because there is no car or danger. We took beautiful hikes in the woods behind the house, enjoyed the beautiful vista, and ran into roe deers several times as they were moving in the woods. The house is comfortable and large enough that you can even enjoy a rainy day, if that happens. We loved the place and the hosts!

'Haus mit mediterranem flair' was outstanding in every way. On arrival there was someone to meet you and explain everything one possibly needs to know. The fire was welcome due to the very cold weather at times - it's the best fire to create instant warmth and also to relax by. This house was a true home away from home, with lovely views as a bonus. We enjoyed walking in the area, and visiting Gmunden by the lake. Although we didn't meet the owners, communication was very easy and always prompt.

Where do I begin! Let me say that when I booked and there was only one review I was skeptical but I could not agree more after the stay. We were on a road trip with my brother and my dog and we were looking for a place to spend the night not far from the highway. Although we had to drive for about 20 mins to reach the village and the road was a bit bumpy the last part, we were more than rewarded when we arrived. The Location is super beautiful! The house is next to a church and we were lucky enough to see the people going to the Church on Sunday with men wearing traditional clothes. My dog had a blast, both around the area but even better next to the street that is located right below the property. The house itself is so incredibly cute and brand new, amazing view over the stream, fully equipped kitchen and OMG the bedroom and bathroom downstairs were so chic and comfy! Amazing taste, beautifully decorated. Veronika and Gerhard were the best hosts ever! Super nice and friendly, and absolutely accommodating. I had some frozen dog food and my portable fridge broke during the trip, Gerhard took a huge amount of it and stored it for us till check out. Also he provided us with some tools we needed. We visited Gmunden and Veronika reassured us about the road. All in all a perfect experience. Thank you and we will be definitely returning if the road brings us back to Austria. Soti, Stamy & Jojo
