We loved everything about this place. So beautiful and peaceful. The views in the drive to it and from the home were amazing. Very, very clean. Wonderful location in the hills with great views and unpolluted air. Tranquil setting. Great for walks. The owners, husband and wife, are very welcoming and helpful. Family atmosphere. Excellent local products, home made schnapps, salami, speck, sausages. Nice and relaxing stay. An amazing hilltop castle nearby.
Stayed here for the Austrian F1 Weekend, just over an hour from the circuit. Beautiful family run Guest House, the hosts were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The food is all locally sourced and exceeded expectations (including the Shnapps). Lovely scenic location, would stay again in a heartbeat.
The position of the gasthof is superb, with great views of the hills. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and helpful, the dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast superb, especially the home-produced ham and fresh farm eggs. A great experience.
