Arrived there after a wet ride on my bike and they offered to dry my gear for me, this was a great help. Rooms where of a decent size and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and this was also very good, food and ambience. Would certainly go back there.
Surrounded by meadows, Hotel Laserz enjoys a quiet location 2 km south of Lienz. It features a large children’s playground, and an indoor pool with panoramic mountain views.

The hotel is run by wonderful owners who care about your comfortable stay.
There was lots of amusement for the kids: we lost our child on the playground and the games room.
The sauna and the pool were the perfect ending to the hiking days.
It was tranquil at night after 22-23. Our room was right in front of the restaurant terrace, and we had no problems with the noise from the visitors.
The breakfast and dinner were delicious! One of the best on our trips.
This luxury 5-star hotel offers an exclusive ambience in the heart of the picturesque town of Lienz in East Tyrol, surrounded by the scenic mountains of the Lienz Dolomites.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. The large rooms show some wear but nothing too bad. The rooms are beautifully furnished, like the rest of the hotel.
The food in the restaurant was top notch!
Framed by the beautiful panorama of the Lienz Dolomites, Parkhotel Tristachersee offers a romantic and exceptionally quiet location on a scenic lake in the forests, 4 km south of Lienz.

Beautiful, just perfectly beautiful!! Quiet, super clean, most comfortable beds. So much love and care goes into this hotel from the owner. The „secret“ garden where one can relax. Tucked away but yet close enough to Lienz and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was out of this world; it was really good! The dinner too.
The family-run Gästehaus Steinerhof enjoys a quiet location in Nikolsdorf and offers views of the Lienzer Valley Floor and the Lienzer Dolomiten Mountain Range.

The place was beautiful, newly renovated, separate bathroom all on one floor just for your personal use. Secure parking. Fantastic views. Highly recommend
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
We found this as a cheaper option to the hotels in Lienz, what a great place, amazing views and huge rooms. Super kind host, super easy check in and nice breakfast.
This accommodation definitely exceeded our expectations. Very nice and accommodating lady owner. The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean, we found everything we could need in the kitchen. A great location for skiing and trips with which the owner will advise itineraries. We were very satisfied here.
Too bad the biggest grade is 10. Great accommodation in a great location, with the most amazing host I had the change to meet in Austria. Cannot recommend it enough!
Dankeschön, Britz family!
Barbara is so welcoming and such a delightful host. The hotel is clean, well set up, and has great views. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was fresh. We found it was a great location for us to start the Glosglockner Road from the next day. Highly recommend.
Very lovely host which is very enthusiastic. Beautiful location with views on the Italian Dolomites. Rooms with a lot lot of space, which are very clean and modern. Good breakfast - try the home made jams! Excellent starting point for cycling and hiking in the area - lot's of trails and roads available. Facilities like restaurants and supermarkets just a few miles away (Linz). Next to a cycling friendly coffee cafe :-).
