A great stay in a gorgeous location. Our host, Maria, was an angel. Always cheerful and so happy to help. Lovely breakfast in the garden started us off well each day. Location was great, only a 10 min walk from the ferry and 5 mins from the central sea front. Would recommend to all.

We stayed for 6 days/nights, but would have liked to stay longer. The apartment is very nice and has a private garden belonging to Apartment Emilia directly at the lake with great view over Hallstatt lake/mountains, and from which you can swim in the lake. The owners/hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house (in which the apartment is) is in the quiet area of Hallstatt, and still on close walking distance from the village. We had a great view on the mountains from the balcony too. There is so much to do close to Hallstatt and apartment Emilia. We hiked amongst others to beautiful waterfalls from the apartment, and to the Salzwelten, and went to Dachstein Krippenstein with 2 caves (https://dachstein-salzkammergut.com/en/ from Obertraun, close to Hallstatt by bus). There are many mountainbike trails in the beautiful nature at Hallstatt lake, and there is even an annual mountainbike event/trophy. We intend to certainly go back to this place in future.

The host was very helpful and booked us a restaurant which is advisable at busy times. There was a bakery a little walk away with a big choice of breakfast and coffee options. Restaurant Grüner Baum has absolut beautiful views over the lake.

We really liked Herr and Frau Fischer. They told us everything we needed to know about hiking and activities in the area, and they even lent us bikes to go to a hike in Dachstein. We had to leave later than the check out but that was no problem, as we could keep our luggage in the pension and could use the common rooms and garden while waiting. Really good facilities, free sauna and a nice garden with access to the lake. Very close to everything in Hallstatt and with many great hiking routes in the area.
