We loved the location. We were traveling every day, so the location added about 20min to the journey usually, but the peace and beautiful nature were worth it. Our room was amazing and had everything we could need, it was stylish and quite spacious. We had chilled water in the fridge, big closet and walk-in shower - and the towels! So soft and absorbent ♡
Breakfast was always nice and filling, there were meaty, vegan and vegetarian options, great pastry, hot and cold drinks and fresh eggs and bacon on the spot.
Though we didn't travel with a dog, we appreciated, that dogs were welcomed and nicely accommodated by hotel staff.
Also we recommend visiting the Hintersee lake, it's smaller then Wolfgangsee, but it also has less people there and is set more in nature.

This is a wonderful hotel and the staff is lovely and polite. The location is straight on the lake and the rooms offer scenic views. The private beach at the hotel is beautiful and the pool/sauna facilities are a nice extra. The breakfast has a great selection and the dinner room is amazing, literally on the lake. The best start to our Austria trip - beautify location and amazingly warm and friendly hospitality, we felt so welcome and comfortable and were well looked after with a great breakfast. The perfect location to explore the Salzkammergut and a real taste of Austrian hospitality, we’ll definitely be back next time we are down that way.
The location of this hotel was perfect especially if you're using buses. It is very near Hintersee and Fuschlee lakes. And the buses stop right outside the property. Everything is incredibly clean and Sonja and her family are very nice and keep the property running smoothly! The breakfasts were filling and the restaurant was clearly loved by the locals. We enjoyed eating there every night

Wonderful accomodation in a stunning location, a traditional austrian house, sorrounded by beautiful hills, grass fields and woods. The room has normal size, it is very clean with a very beautiful balcony, a small and clean bathroom. Breakfast is really good with sweat and salty meals.
