Great location, close to the highway, but still quiet. The two connecting rooms (4&5) were perfect for our stay. The kirchen was fully equipped, with a fridge with a small freezer. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had in the many hotels we've stayed over the years. The terace was also great. We left early, so we could not enjoy the breakfast.

Price and quality of the apartment. We booked this apartment couple of hours before arrival, but the owner was quick enough to provide us with all the necessary detail on how to check in. There is also pizzeria right below the apartment with inexpensive choice of dishes.

Beautiful location ; my 6 years old and both I and my husband had a great time staying in this lovely farm with rabbits and babies , pony, goat and babies , cats and many kittens , cows, Guinea pigs, donkeys, chicken , goats , turkeys, dog the owner provided the pick up and drop off to and from the train station ; lovely owner’s family made us feel very homely and comfortable ; delicious home made dinner, breakfast and lunch; we would love to come back again for more days . Excellent location, convenient for the highway and for the Donau cycling path. We stayed in a 2-room apartment as a quadruple room, very spacious and comfortable. The Train station is very close, but trains are very quiet even when the windows are open. Ample street parking. Great breakfast.

From our shaded garden and the veranda, you can enjoy a stunning view of the river. As a member of the "Donau-Rad-Hotels" Wachau, we are specialised on guests travelling by bicycle. Of course, the hotel also welcomes non-cyclists. The Wachauerhof is the ideal starting point to explore the Wachau and the Waldviertel region, with its largely untouched nature and its great number of cultural monuments.
