Everything was perfect, if there was the option for 11 or 12 stars I would press that option! Ardenis and his sister are really great people and staff, they just want to make sure everything is perfect for you as much as possible.
The rooms were great the landscape as great and the breakfast was just what we needed.
Surely will want to come back, just to try and have some traditional fli that they make!

Great hospitality! The room was nice and clean. We stayed there after doing hike to Doberdol, great place to have a rest after hiking in the mountains, very nice owners and the breakfast was delicious. I wish we had more time to stay there!

We have been lucky through our travels to meet very welcoming staff and owners in the properties we have stayed but BlackMountain has been a standout. It was like staying with friends. Facilities are great, immaculately clean and comfortable firm bedding. The cafe and bar collocated was a great place to start the day.

We chose it to be as close to the start of the trail to Theth as possible. We asked for a packed breakfast so we could leave early ( we left at 7 and we were at the top of the pass at 9.15). They were very accommodating and their son could speak English which helped. The restaurant is a 5 min walk from the accommodation.
The views and peace are amazing and we saw fireflies when it got dark. The horses just wandered about the front garden.

Very close to the trailhead to Theth, so a great location if you want to be the first on the Valbone-Theth trail or doing some bigger hikes like Maja Jezerce.
This is probably one the best stays during my Albania trip.
The guest house is a really tactical and good location as it's the last guest house on the valbona-theth trail.
This also makes it really beautiful as you are fully immersed in the middle of the mountains. It feels detached from the world and so relaxing.
The hosts are so nice and sweet. They stayed with me in the morning and gave me company until the rain ended and I could start the hike.
Food is also great. I had both breakfast and dinner.

Would give a 10 for the location and the view. Very authentic, nice surroundings with local farms. Loved the quietness, with just some goats and cows grazing. Hosts are friendly and welcoming, their English is basic but still had some nice talks.
Location first of all. If you are hiking to Theth you are already on the trail. Surrounding is very peaceful with million dollar views. The hosts also run a cafe 5 minutes away.
Everything. The house is situated in the quiet village of Rragam near Valbona. It has an amazing view on the many peaks around. Traditional stone house which has a beautiful garden with trees and bench with table where you can sit and enjoy the views. The water in front of the guesthouse comes from the mountains directly. Everything is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and you can make yourself a coffee if you want. The owners also have a nice restaurant near where you can eat traditional and organic food which they produce.
If you have ever watched the sound of music or Heidi and want to feel what its like living on a small holding on the side of a mountain.... This is your place!
