Food, stay and the service. They provided us with best room and especially the management team is highly flexible for the interest of their customers. I was having a late check out with my family due to the timing of my flight. They understand my situation and they handled me with a late check out without any extra charges. Also I should say they were much concerned on the quality of food provided according to our taste. The Metro Hotel is located at the TEG mall and the TEG bus station. It was very handy for staying overnight and catching a bus the next morning. Plus, I needed to buy a few things and the mall was right there. The beds were comfy! In the US, the hotel near bus stations are low class. But in Tiranë, it is brand new and comfortable.

Mai Tai lies in the suburbs of Tirana, however just a 2 minute walk to TEG - Tirana East Gate which is the largest shopping mall in Albania. Therefore it is a quiet neighborhood with a lot of shopping and dining alternatives close by. The rooms in general are quite large and quiet and the bed is very comfortable. You get an A la Carte breakfast, meaning you can basically order whatever you like or whatever is available to them at any time, but it is truly amazing and the service is just great.

-Pool: clean, great music, drinks/ food easily accessible -Food in the main/ fancy restaurant was excellent -Staff throughout was kind, helpful and welcoming -Manager in the main/fancy restaurant was an A+ gentleman We had one issue during our lengthy stay and the manager in the main (fancy) restaurant moved swiftly and addressed the problem so that the remainder of our stay was enjoyable! We traveled from the US with our family and met family members here at this resort. In total we had over 20 people within our family from Albania, Greece and Italy. It was a great stay, we can not stress enough how the manager really made it a priority to address our concern. As a result, we would give this resort an A+ (we travel a lot!)
