- Very warm and friendly welcome and stay. We loved the room, the view, the food and good company of the host.
The family just opened the chalet this season and are doing a great job. From the room you have an amazing view over the valley and the mountains. The showers are hot, the room is very comfortable and exactly wat you need after a hike or just to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Albanië.
The women cooked us a nice homemade meal and also the breakfast was the best one we had during our 7 day hike.

Modern accommodations, large cabin but sparsely furnished. Has great potential to be amazing, the views are gorgeous.
Stayed in cabin 16, an upper level one with huge floor to ceiling windows to look at the mountains.
They serve dinner but no menu. They just verbally tell you what they have. It would be so easy to write a menu up… Breakfast was ok, served in the restaurant.
We were grateful they provided us a ride to the end of the pavement which saved about 4 km of walking. A taxi will cost 30 euros if you want to be driven right to the start of the trail to Theth. (There’s about 2 km of 4x4 road after the pavement).

Had a great stay in this guesthouse. The host, Drita, was very lovely and welcoming. She prepared breakfast and dinner, which were delicious and the portion was generous. She even prepared me lunch for my hike the next day at a very fair cost. To top it all off, the view from the yard and the second floor bedroom was stunning. The location is quite far from the starting point of the hiking trail, but a Taxi could easily be arranged through Drita.

Everyone there goes above and beyond with the hospitality. The chef was sweet and helpful, he packed a lunch for me and made an incredible dinner.

Erenik, the Manager, is also a tour guide and an expert on any kind of tour you could want.
~I didn’t have all the gear I needed, and he saved the day with his second-hand outdoors shop.
He drove me to the trail head and checked on me to make sure my hike in the rain went well.
The room was really nice, had extra blankets, and a lovely view. Valbona is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. I’d love to return!
