It is situated 2.3 km from Bwejuu Beach and features a tour desk. There is not one sentence to sum up my 8 day stay at Karibu house but FABULOUS! My room was modern, spotlessly clean, and even came with a small fridge (which definetely comes in superhandy at 30+ degrees). There is a beautiful garden in the middle, where people can work, eat or just chill. The location is perfect: 5 minute walk from the beach and 3 minute from the main square. Last but not least - the two hosts Vanessa and Cristina were super: professional and there for tips and advice, even since before I arrived helping me arrange the driver to pick me up at the airport. On top of that they are amazing two young women, forthcoming, comunicative and friendly with their guests coming from all over the world. They even organize the weekly BBQ for whoever wants to join, and oh boy, they were such amazing cooks! I think I have eaten there my best meal in Paje out of all :D Karibu provided me a sense of safety and belonging and feeling at home that no other place can compete with and that is most important (since I was a solo female traveller). Needless to say, I will be staying at Karibu whenever I am back in Paje!

Very few tourists. WiFi week really well, if that's important 😉

Definitely one of the best experience as a guest, that starts with a very warmful welcome and ends with an emotional goodbye that lefts me in tears. The place is a perfect gate away for families as the apartments are full catered with all you need. Breakfast is really yummy and it’s served every morning at your terrace. Location for us was great as it’s only 5 minutes away from the beach and the local shops. Thank you very much Paola & staff for taking care of us and provide us with an excellent service. I highly recommend!

This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Everything! The casualness, the amazing food, the owners, the comfort level, being flexible with regards to my food restrictions and kind about it, cleanliness. Just everything. I love the peacefulness and just being able to relax. Not a touristy area which was perfect for me. I will definitely return.

Villa Huruma offers an outdoor pool. The rooms were quite comfortable, we particularly liked the stone bathroom. Windows have mosquito nets and the air conditioning is placed so that you can have it on without cold air blowing directly into you. The resort has a relaxing vibe to it with a large swimming pool, where you can chill. The resort is located about 150m from the ocean, so it's a quick walk to the beach. The girls were very nice and helped us if we needed anything. The food was delicious, we ate there a few times because it was raining and we could't go anywhere. Also there's a big selection of items on the menu.

Situated off Paje Road, the beachfront Kobe House is located in Jambiani on the south east coast of Zanzibar. It has two swimming pools surrounded by a tropical garden and featuring views of the beach. We booked a room for five at Kobe House after our flight home was cancelled. Since the hotel was not full, they let us have another room for free, so we can enjoy some time off from the kids. Everything in this hotel is spot on! From the flowers on your bed to the beautiful garden that feels like a tropical forest. The place is newly renovated, and everything is kept really clean and tidy. The staff was super friendly and really keen to help. We planned for one night, but stayed for the rest of our vacation in Zanzibar, until we could catch a new flight. Definitely the best value for money!
