All Proteas’ rooms are heated and have a private bathroom. Some rooms have a kitchenette and sea views, while others have wooden sloped ceilings. The host was very generous and kind, one evening she treated us with Madeira wine and cake. The lounge (breakfast/dinner space) was very cozy; The room had a very rare find in Madeira - a heater, so we were able to dry our clothes etc. This wasn't the case in other hotels ( 5 of them) we booked in Madeira.

Casa Da Piedade’s rooms feature wood furniture, as well as a TV and telephone. Each private bathroom includes a walk-in shower. The room was spacious and comfortable with the needed amenities. The view from the room is beautiful of the mountains, the swimming pool and the groomed yard. The staff were very friendly and polite. Ricardo the owner was very helpful and did not make an issue when I arrived for check-in very late at 21:30 as I got carried away on the magnificent walk... The location is optimal for exploring the various attractions in Madeira for up to ~60 min. in any direction.

Very cleN, well equipped, spectacular views, great location. 10 minutes to Funchal.

This aparthotel provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Girao Cape is 40 km from the aparthotel and Santana's traditional houses is 46 km away. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

Featuring sea and garden views, this apartment also includes free WiFi. The apartment has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I was beyond pleased with this apartment! I came to Machico for a running race so it was important to me that I have a kitchen and different amenities to prep for the race. Was the perfect base for my stay and I will definitely book again for next year. The host also was super helpful with answering some questions for me before arrival or if I needed some support during my stay. The apartments were clearly very new and I hope that they are able to maintain the property as it was excellent!

Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The apartment has family rooms. Great location, close to the Ponta do Sol. You can hear and see the ocean right from your balcony. Beach is about 100m away, you only need to cross quite a busy street. There is also a nice, glazed private pool on the outside terrace as well as some sunbeds and parasols. Parking is free, on the street. We did not have any problems with street parking there.
