This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip. They also upgraded our room for free to one of the top floor rooms - the view over the water was beautiful and the room was so cozy. Parking was easy and there were several top restaurants steps away, along with a kayak company. We also were able to walk from the hotel to the top of a nearby hill where there were no lights to watch the Aurora. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with planning the rest of our drive through Lofoten.

All cottages at Sakrisøy Rorbuer have wooden interiors. Each has a private bathroom with shower. Great location with awesome view and all the facilities. We could have easily stayed more. Highly recommended!

The House of Aurora I is a recently renovated apartment in Tromsø, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is soundproof and is located 19 km from University of Tromsø. This is the best stay I have had in a year. Me and my wife went there on March. The place is a little bit far from town but near to a lot of trails walk and aurora spot. All the instructions that you need to get in the apartment are easy to understand. The apartment itself has everything we need. The host is so friendly and he even text me when there’s aurora outside the house which we can just see it through the big windows. Definitely will come back!

On a good night, you will be able to see Northern lights from the apartment. Kitchen has more than enough cutlery for you to cook your favourite meal. 18 mins walk from the town centre(where all tour starts) alternative you can take bus if you are tired.
