I stayed in Deluxe 1 which had a nice window seat with sea view and was bright and full use of the kitchen. I then stayed in deluxe 3 which was a little dark but lovely. All cottages at Sakrisøy Rorbuer have wooden interiors. Each has a private bathroom with shower. We loved the property! We have stayed in tons of places before, but this was probably the best place we have stayed as far as how charming the interior was. We also felt that Sakrisoy was a lot less touristy and uncrowded compared to the rentals on Hamnoy and Reine. We would definitely stay here again!!

It's a good base for exploring the area, including the Polar Park, and for us was an excellent stop off point between Lofoten and Tromso. The guest house is as described - everything needed is provided (fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee, juice, etc). We had a double en-suite room upstairs which was spacious, comfy and clean with good heating and stunningly close view of the waterfall from the bed.

Easy to get to from the airport. We rented a car and had ample space for parking. It was equally easy to get to by public transport as there is a bus stop out the front. Access to the apartment was super easy as the door just needed a code. The size of the apartment was great. We had separate space for sleeping, sitting and eating. The bed was super comfy. It was high (no issues), we would have loved having a bedside table or shelf. There were so many powerpoints! The kitchen was compact, but had all we needed. The bathroom was amazing. Shower hot and we appreciated the heated floor and mood lighting. The apartment was tastefully decorated - everything matched. We had no issues with the temperature inside - it was perfect. We never heard anything from the other apartments. We loved the aspect. It was very peaceful looking out on the water and we were entertained by a seal and deer during our stay. We could also watch the planes taking off and landing! We were pleasantly surprised to see the northern lights in the direction of Tromso! There was also a large shop just down the road that stocked absolutely everything! They are open late everyday, except closed on Sundays. We were impressed to see the driveway and car park were kept clear from snow.
