It is so serene, so peaceful and at such a wonderful location, right by the water. There are quite some activities to do, like Canoeing, boating, fishing or Sauna (all have different charges) The host is a really friendly man who was super flexible with us checking in late on the day of arrival. We had quite a chit chat with him on the next day. The property is so well maintained. Everything looks so pristine and fresh. Kitchen is well stuffed with good crockery and has goof ameneties. Garden is lush green. And if it rains, you can sit and relax in the room with a glass roof. Just make sure to buy food stuff from Flekkefjord beforehand. It is quite a drive from the main city and the last 4 km are a gravel road, all well maintained. The only part not good about our stay was that it was only 4 days. Should have stayed longer. Will definitely come back and would surely recommend to everyone who seeks peace and calm along with some activities right in the heart of Norwegian nature.

Based on just the view from the deck of this house, the rating is worth a 10. Loved sitting on the deck and looking at the harbor. Nice, big place (designed for much larger groups - we were just 2 people) with lots of room and comfort. Big TV. Clean, with excellent facilities. Very well equipped. Loved the isolation and solitude, despite being above what appears to be a busy roadway. Bedrooms were very quiet. Be aware that you will have to carry luggage up a short gravel path to the house. This was one of the best places we stayed while in Norway for a month.

University of Agder is 1.2 km away from Apartment Tryms vei 20a - Stor Leilighet. The location was perfect. I was working at the university and it took less than 15 minutes to walk there every day (in the snow and ice). It was so convenient. The facilities were great. I had an entire apartment, including bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom to myself. It was very clean and cosy. The host was so kind and helpful.

The apartment itself is good and has all the amenities one could ask for.
