Store near by and also a very good pizzeria.

Good location in quaint Serrig (never heard of it but is itself a non touristy beautiful town to walk/plus near beautiful Sarrig Old Town and Waterfall (worth a half day walk). Pension Schmitz offers great service (though not in English/translate by phone), very good breakfast—And YES you can make sandwiches to go/with bread, meat, cheese! Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. And the neighbors have a deer farm to enjoy—we fed them grass and weeds directly over the Schmitz fence. Oh—and did I mention the CASTLE VIEW over that same fence and from our room… all this for a very fair price! AMAZING!
Nittel
Set on a winery in the picturesque Mosel Valley, this family-run guest house is located in the town of Nittel. Each spacious room has a south-facing balcony offering views of the surrounding countryside and comes with a complimentary bottle of wine from the property's vineyard. Bridget is absolutely delightful. She provided a beautiful and excellent tasting breakfast each day. The wine was wonderful. From this location we easily traveled to Luxembourg.

Location is practical, In a small town center we had access to local shops, bakeries, restaurants, activities... The guest house was also very close to the park/playground which was nice for the kids.

This landhouse is related to a winery and situated in a small village. The grounds are green and spacious, and we loved the large and well renovated flat. Lots of dogs, but no problem. Close to historic Trier
