Massive comfy bed, fantastic wet room/bathroom. No real hot water but that was no issue. No air-con but the ceiling fans are really effective so was no issue at all. We were even allowed into to the family kitchen for a Sri Lankan cooking lesson

Nicest breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka (those omelettes 🔥). Jeremey and Roshan and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating.

The location to the beach was close ... just a short walk away, but off the busy main road so quieter than some accommodation in Marissa. Breakfasts were amazing ... possibly the best we've had in Sri Lanka, including lots of fresh fruit. Room was a good size, comfy bed, mosquito net, fab wifi. Bathroom was modern, lots of hot water and good shower pressure. There was a small kitchenette for guests (shared with 1 other room), but great for making drinks / light meals. Hosts were wonderful, kind, generous and helpful. Did laundry for us at a reasonable price. The son is a tuktuk driver and we organized our onward travel with him for a fair price.

The host is very welcoming and frendly. The best guide who is professionaly seek animals, tells about the forest tenderly, loving and fascinating.

Located 400 metres from Thalaramba Beach, Casa Mira Boutique Villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio and a swimming pool. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Apartment was very spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything you may need (kitchen appliances, etc). Quiet location, but not too far from the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast can be ordered additionally, but regretfully we didn’t try. Comfortable parking area (we were traveling around Sri Lanka by car, and it was very important). We would only recommend to add some extra bath towels for long-stay guests :) Other than that - it was a great stay and we were sad to leave!

We had a lovely stay at sakura calm rest :) the room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The balcony is nice to relax and the AC worked perfectly well on those hot afternoons. We especially enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen to make our own fruitjuice. The host was super friendly and helpful. The beach is approx 5 minutes by foot and theres cafe around the corner with good coffee and smoothiebowls.
