A beautiful, comfortable, newly renovated old pearl processing building. Feels like it’s floating on the water. The host is lovely and generous. It’s quiet and off the tourist trail. The location is an artists dream…wanted to stay there a week and draw the estuary, nori farms, traditional fishing activities. It’s very natural with a richly biodiverse forest all about. Plus there’s 2 top quality kayaks to explore the inlets.

We stayed in the Tochi house which was absolutely gorgeous especially the bathroom with a wooden bath. The food was superb with the finest attention to detail! Oishii!! Maeda san, Ayumi san , Okami san , Hiromi san Yuma san and Osamu san treated us like royalty! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
