Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with DVD player. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Practically everything! There are so many amazing things to say about this place, I'll just go in order: 1) They were VERY prompt and communicative over booking.com chat for my questions and requests for my sister who is on a wheelchair. 2) They have a free shuttle bus service for pickup from the train/bus station and a dropoff. AND for whenever you want to visit anywhere in Hakuba that's within a 10 min drive diameter. HOW COOL IS THAT?! An absolute highlight and USP of this place. 3) THE STAFF! Omg, the staff is some of the BEST I've ever seen in all of my stays around the world. In particular, their managers Thomas and Rena. I cannot emphasize how immensely helpful they both were throughout my stay there working around the clock to ensure we had the best time. Seriously, words cannot describe how great they were and I cannot thank them enough. 4) Thomas, who was coordinating with me over messages before my arrival; made whatever possible arrangements for my handicapped sister to ensure she had the smoothest time and I am incredibly thankful to him for that. Not only this, he personally took so much time and effort to make sure we got to do the activities we wanted and made all sorts of arrangements including arranging for ski rentals and inquiring with the resorts before we got there. Anyone from the Wadano team reading this, please make sure this guy is taken care of well. He truly is the crown jewel of our experience there. 5) The hotel itself is equipped with an awesome lounge area with a pool table, Foosball, board games and plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Never had a dull time while I was there. 6) The rooms were wonderful and spacious. A perfect blend between modern hotel rooms on one side and a Japanese inn kinda feeling on the other. Overall, this was the best stay we had out of all of the places we visited in Japan.

Offering a ski pass sales point and ski storage space, HakubaGoryu Pension&LogCottage Arumu is situated in Hakuba, only 100 metres away from the Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort lifts. Free private parking is available on site. We stayed in one of the cabins. There were two western style beds and mats for additional sleeping. Two toilets and a large shower room with a large tub (hot tub maybe - didnt' reallly check it out). Immaculte clean and looked brand new with beautifully crafted wood on the walls, ceilings and floors. All you would need for cooking any meal. Short walk to ski rental places and the main lodge of Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Also many restuaurants within walkable distance. Staff called us that morning to pick us up at the bus stop - nice bonus! Breakfast was delicious and staff very nice!

Featuring ski-to-door access, the 2-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We had a great stay at Anise Garden. It was spring ski time in Hakuba so the free shuttle wasn’t running the owner told us no problem he would drive us to and from the hills, he was so nice even drove us to our station when leaving and organized our bag delivery back. The private onsens both indoor and outdoor are beautiful. Would recommend and stay again!

Pension Nugget Inn offers a terrace, bicycle rentals and free WiFi, a 5-minute drive from the Happo-One Gondola or Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park. Guests can get a discount at a ski gear rental shop nearby, that’s owned by Nugget Inn. My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights while snowboarding in Hakuba, and it was perfect! Our room and the facilities were always immaculately clean and they supplied us with everything we needed for our stay. It was also in a great location - quiet, yet close to the bus stops, shops, restaurants, etc. However, what made our visit the most memorable were the incredible hosts. They were the sweetest little couple! They were so warm and welcoming, and you could tell how much pride they put into their beautiful Inn. We can't wait to come and stay here again! Next time we will be bringing all of our family and friends too!
