The property is stunning and the host is absolutely lovely. Myself and a friend stayed for an event in an equestrian centre in Mullingar for 2 nights. We had a huge room with beautiful period features, incredibly comfortable beds and bed linen, and a huge bathroom with a great shower and a big standalone roll top bath. The location is so serene and the house is like stepping back in time - but with all the modern comforts!! Breakfast was superb - lovely fry and home-made breads and jams with great coffee and a gorgeous view out the sash window with roses framing it on the outside. I arrived and given a lovely pot of coffee and some amazing home made brownies; as we left on Sunday it was with more of these brownies in hand to keep us going for the day! Absolutely loved the stay - our only regret was that we didn't get to spend more time actually relaxing in this beautiful property.
