Magdalena and Hironymous and their children welcomed me into their home with open arms. I participated in their nightly prayer circle before dinner and a thoughtful conversation about the different ways of service in life. Magdalena speaks good English and understands even better. We were served a very filling local meal and ate with the family then shared stories of our lives after dinner. The room and bathroom were very clean and met my needs perfectly. The gardens around the home are very beautiful and well cared for. I highly recommend for a true experience with an Indonesian family!

We got there late and they offered to ask there neighbors to cook us dinner. We had a late flight on our day of departure and Rio the son drove us around for a hike and a few hours at the beach before he dropped us off at the airport. Such great people, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Rooms have a balcony with garden views. We really loved our stay the staff around Mentos was great the breakfast was amazing nice pancakes with the biggest fruit platter we had so far. The room wer cozy with good AC. It is located in a quite area with a nice garden and near to the sea. Mentos was also a really big help when I lost my wallet and did find it in a day over facebook

They are super helpful with tips, booking transport, renting scooter, everything. Jofan keep helping me trough WhatsApp even when I was no longer in Ruteng. (Of course I went back and stay another night) They cooked family a delicius dinner for no cost for the guest (both nights!) and give with homemade snacks during the day. The restaurant the own is amazing as well. As for the installations, everything clean, confortable and nice. When I wanted a hot shower they heat up a bucket for me! Thanks you very much for eveything. It was my favorite homestay in Indonesia 🥰

The rooms are very spacious and the design is great. The staff here is super friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to talk with them. The rooftop offers a great view on the sea and the Ende bay. You really feel good at the second you arrive in the house. We also had a very nice dinner and breakfast. This house is amazing and the people that work here make the place even better !

Amazing views from the terraces and lovely introduction to Indonesian life. You can do a sunrise hike through the rice terraces with Jeff the owner and dinner (optional extra) is a shared affair wearing traditional sarongs and shared with other guests. Very friendly and welcoming. Jeff went out of his way to drive us to Labuan Bajo after our stay.
