The location is remote, and to get there, you pass through a beautiful road in the forest. The village is small, with few people and a beautiful central square where you can find some places for food and drink. The couple that manages the rooms is very friendly and runs a tavern in the central square with excellent food and tasty local products. Going there allows you to enjoy a perfect breakfast sitting in front of the fire in a beautifully decorated place.

Everything was absolutely great!!! Dimitria and Yanis hosted us with smile and kindness. helped us with the laundry and with travels around. definitely a place I’ll come back in my next visit. Located at the foot of Mount Velouchi and offering an outdoor and indoor heated swimming pool, as well as a spa centre, The View Village is situated just 1.8 km from the central square of Karpenision. Ski Center Karpenisi is 10 km away. So peaceful and wonderful place. The Village View was always peaceful with polite and welcoming staff, the pool was beautiful and had unique mountain views, which was amazing. My room was super, clean and large with many amenities like bathrobe, slippers, converlet, towels and toilet paper. I loved the furniture decor style. I would highly recommend them.

Tavropos River lies within 10 km. The host, Soterius, is great. With his little Englisch and big smile he made us happy. The food is simple but good. The place is amazing, Straight into the mountains.
