Liverpool city centre is just 15 minutes away by bus, which stops at a bus stop just a 1-minute walk from Holm On The Lane. Very communicative host, easy check-in Comfortable beds and handy bathroom Cosmetics like shower gel, conditioner and shampoo were of great quality and with options Parking on site, place easily accessible from the motoway Sweet treats in the room were a happy surprise

The bed was comfortable and the shower was refreshing. The staff were friendly and attentive. A great location for anyone travelling to Ireland via ferry. Ample off-street parking. Breakfast was very tasty.

Everything was exceptional - beautiful room, easy bus ride into Liverpool and wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Liverpool.

Centrally located in Heswall, The Jug and Bottle is a country-style guest house that offers modern and comfortable rooms and ample free parking. Set in secluded surroundings, it is within 25 minutes’ drive of Chester and Liverpool and has easy access to the M53 and M56 motorways. Jug and Bottle was a outstanding hotel. We felt very welcomed. Had the best breakfast since leaving home in May. Dinners were outstanding. Thank you.

We couldn’t fault this at all. This was better than we ever expected. It was definitely at bit of luxury for sure. They thought of so many little details. Even down to the hair products in the bathroom. The property catered for all your needs. The little touches of having a pint of milk in the fridge for your early morning cuppa and bread for toast in the morning was very thoughtful. The hosts were exceptional and so lovely. Out stay was a flying visit, however next time we know we will stay longer . We highly recommend this to anyone and look forward to returning again.
