Village location was excellent
We loved the setting of the property. Being able to walk out to the lovely village and have green space and a river nearby.
Clean and basic. Ease of access to motorway. Nice village close by with selection of decent restaurants.
We had such a lovely family stay here! Really clean and comfortable. Loads of space which is unusual in holiday homes. Lots of toys/books/jigsaws. Such a good area - so many things to do in the day, and good roads for evening runs. Friendly hosts. And a good shower!
Generous, welcoming, cosy, the Lion Pub in the village
Breakfast was not supplied or implied. The accomodation was excellent but lacking 'necessary maintenance'. The location was 'off the beaten track' but was reasonably priced and was close to where we needed to be and the location is in an area of glorious countryside yet close to interesting places to visit. The meal that we had in the pub was exceptional and the pub was definitely the heart of the village.
Quiet village, ample parking . Great bar, brilliant food and lovely people .
The bed felt like heaven after living in France holiday home for 2 weeks
Very nice holiday home with an amazing view, Lovely walks nearby and a very good base for walking in Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.. Very friendly hosts and accomodation is clean and well designed. Would like to visit again in the future.
