The hotel is very cute and cosy, the staff is wonderful, the restaurant Casa Fofi that belongs to the hotel is delicious, location is perfect, couple of minutes away from Potes, we highly recommend this accommodation !

The apartment has family rooms. I liked the size of the apartment, pretty spacious. Very clean, equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. Comfortable bed if you like firm mattresses (I liked it very much). Heaters in every room, including the bathroom.

Especially good for walking and plenty of suggestions made by Luis, the very friendly and helpful owner. He went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

I wanted to switch the room, and the host was very flexible.

The country house offers garden views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. This house is full of good spirit and mindfulness of the owners Idaia and Drago. When You arrive at this place, You feel immediately comfortable and when the weather is clear, you have an amazing view of the mountains out of the windows of your room. This place let you breathe in tranquillity and enjoy the marvellous nature of picos de Europa and beautiful beaches only 30 minutes by car. Idaia serve you a delicious breakfast to have a good start in the day, you can have an extraordinary lunchpaket for a trip and we highly recommend to take the dinner in the house cause it is excellent and in a cosy room. For us the Refugio del Cares is a very special place to come back again and again when you have the oppurtunity. A Great Thank to Idaia and Drago for the Exceptionnal stay we did have and we appreciated with our heart and soul. We are looking forward to come back next year. Tania and Rudi.
