She also cooks delicious pastries for breakfast, which is also made of salty food (and with local dried sausages 😋). The lady is a grandmother, you can even meet her family at some point of the day.. they're lovely people, very welcoming! Also, talking about the room: quiet, with a good bed: it is a simple place, where you feel cosy!

Great location and lovely welcome from Jove who was very helpful with meeting us and with parking the car. He also spoke perfect English and had good recommendations for restaurants nearby.

The rooms are decorated with antique-style furniture. Many have original stone walls, and all have heating. It’s a lovely old Roman building with incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, especially Marguerite. If I ever come back to Girona, I know where I’ll stay. Lovely ‘penthouse’ room with doors/windows on four sides for view and ventilation. Modest but comfortable room but so worth the climb. Delicious breakfast. Excellent location steps from the cathedral. Visited in March.

Parking is possible, if reserved in advance, in a private off-site outdoor parking. Amazing location, right next to the shops and restaurants and 4 mins walk from the beach. The beds were super comfy and the living area was spacious. The accommodation was spotless and we loved being able to use the facilities at hotel San Jorge. We will definitely be back!
