The hosts offered us a bottle of champagne for our wedding celebration before dinner and in fact they joined us for a drink. They also gave a car ride to the LEGO house. I feel short of words to describe their hospitality.

It felt comfortable and private even though we were staying at the same time as others. All the animals on the farm are so adorable! The beach nearby was chilly but very lovely with the cliffs leading up to it. The breakfast is amazingly delicious!! We can't wait to come back!

The holiday house at Præstegarde 11 is absolutely beautiful. The house has been lovingly renovated to the highest of standards. The appliances and fittings are first-rate, a quooker tap instead of a kettle - genius, wish we had one at home, USB ports in the plug sockets, a huge dishwasher (tabs provided), a washing machine, lovely shower and comfortable beds. The house is literally a stone’s throw from the cathedral, you can see it from several windows and especially from the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the cosy patio area for dinner in the evening. The town of Ribe is the oldest in Denmark and picture-perfect. There is so much to see and do and it is just a short drive to the sea. The bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival was much appreciated, thank you, and the local bakery Pompeji was excellent, we have never seen so many cakes and pastries in one place before :-) Remember in Denmark to bring your own bed linen and towels or be prepared to request them at a small additional cost. We brought our own which was no problem at all. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house and wonderful town.

In a small kitchenette you can make yourself coffee or tea. Also there is a microwave, dishes and tools. The bathroom was one for two rooms, but was clean. Location: near the main church in the street with several restaurants. The breakfast option was to have something by your self, or down the street there is a bakery, that opens early in the morning. Parking is a few hundred meters away: in day time 4hrs (9-18) night is unlimited. I was there 4 nights and i enjoyed it. Thank you Helle
