The boutique-style 1-bedroom basement apartment offers a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a private outdoor patio where guests can enjoy the beauty of Jasper. It was clean, warm, great kitchen and rooms well decorated, very close to town. Bed and pillows were very comfy!! As a female solo traveller I also felt safe in the property and the neighbourhood.

We loved our stay at Fitzhugh Guest House. The room was perfect. It was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The place was tastefully decorated and it was spotless. Location was perfect, a short stroll to the shops and there was plenty of parking out the front.

The Crimson Jasper is centrally located in the village of Jasper, Alberta where it is close to all the amenities a tourist will require. It contains a licensed restaurant which is very expensive and we declined to eat there after reviewing the dinner meal prices. Within a 7 minute walk from the hotel, we discovered several affordable restaurants and later on watched the NHL Stanley Cup hockey playoffs in the Jasper Brewing Company establishment with a few craft beers. Great atmosphere and would highly recommend it for the thirsty pallet.
The villa is at the back fronting the bush. So there were lots of mosquitoes. Whenever I wanted to get into cottage, mosquitoes follows, and thus inside room, I have lots of insect bites. Parking is a little bit tight as well.
